Biography

Tanya Kaihe is a people leader, policy maker, and rangatahi employment specialist with extensive experience across government, NGO, and corporate sectors. Hailing from the Hokianga, she has built a diverse career spanning social work, policy analysis, business ownership, and executive leadership. Known for her strong networks and strategic approach, Tanya is committed to driving positive social change and achieving meaningful outcomes for whānau Māori. She also enjoys spending as much time with her whanau, especially her mokopuna. Bryan Marsh is a dedicated community advocate, educator, and career development practitioner committed to uplifting rangatahi, whānau, and communities across Aotearoa. Grounded in Kaupapa Māori values, he brings strong leadership and a focus on equity. With a degree in Social Services with distinction, he applies culturally responsive practice and supports pathways in Hāpai Tūhono as Pou Tūhono, shaping policy and empowering young people toward success and future growth within schools and communities nationwide. Dr Lynette Reid has dedicated more than twenty years to career development in Aotearoa, working as an employment advisor, career counsellor, senior lecturer, kaupapa Māori career development scholar, and university leader, and most recently as a researcher and evaluator in the education and philanthropic sectors. She is known for listening with care and curiosity to people’s pūrākau as they explore where — or whether — career fits within their lives. Career counselling remains at the heart of her mahi.
