Biography

Annika Laale is a Project Director with the Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF). She has spent more than twenty years supporting people and organizations through change, growth, and possibility, guided by a deep belief that lasting change happens when people feel heard, valued, and supported. A master-trained facilitator, she blends clear strategy with a warm, human approach to create learning experiences that build confidence, invite curiosity, and help people find their own way forward. Alongside her people-centred practice, Annika has led national initiatives, strengthened sustainability and systems change efforts, and built capacity across diverse organizations, bringing insight into group dynamics and organizational systems while creating spaces of belonging, collaboration, and meaningful progress. Dr. Candy Ho is an internationally recognized career development educator, speaker, and scholar whose work bridges higher education, sustainability, and social impact. She is the Chancellor’s Research Chair at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and President of Career Connections Consulting, where she advances inclusive, future-ready career ecosystems and integrates the UN Sustainable Development Goals into career development and education. A sought-after keynote speaker and media commentator featured in major Canadian outlets, Candy also serves on multiple national boards and is widely known for championing career development as a catalyst for equity, hope, and transformative change.
