Five years to 2030:

Let's make meaningful change for sustainable production and consumption in Aotearoa!

At Summit 2025, be inspired to drive change to shape a more sustainable future by speakers sharing bold ideas, real-world insights and practical actions for transforming our food systems, business, society and minds!

Get hands-on experience and insights through field trips and volunteering built into this year’s programme.

Connect, collaborate with and learn from others, from sustainability and mātauranga Māori practitioners, policy makers, cutting-edge research, youth-led initiatives and businesses committed to sustainable development.

The conference theme is Getting it Right! Sustainable Production and Consumption in Aotearoa.

Keynote and plenary sessions will cover topics such as transforming business for sustainable development, sustainable food systems, youth actions in the sustainability space, an SDG progress report, and how we can think positively to achieve sustainable development.

Our event will be geared towards policy makers and practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds, businesses that are moving in a sustainable direction, as well as scholars, community organisations and youths. Understanding what we can learn from Indigenous peoples, especially from mātauranga Māori, will be a central theme of this event.

Join us at Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa – Massey University, 4 & 5 September 2025.

This event is being hosted by Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa – Massey University in conjunction with our partners – Rangitāne o Manawatū, FoodHQ, Environment Network Manawatū and Palmerston North City Council.
